Message from Pastor Steve

Friends.


It's hard to believe that as I'm writing this we're almost half-way through August. This first month and a half of our new season in ministry together has felt like no time at all, even as the process of moving in and finding space for the surplus of assorted books I somehow acquired over the last few years seems unending.


Katlyn, Sebastian, and I are grateful for the warm welcome we've received from all of you. A central theme in our worship this summer has been that the church is called to be a community recognizable by love for one another and for the wider community around us. I've been glad to see you living that out.


As summer ends and we settle into the rhythm of weekly worship I'm looking forward to getting to know people properly, not just from the pulpit, and establishing a schedule of visitation for members who can't join us on Sundays.
